Editorial Remark

The first issue of the Empirical Econometrics and Quantitative Economics Letters (EEQEL) is an honorary issue to Dr. Komsan Suriya for his contribution to Center of Quantitative Analysis and Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University during his 15 years of service especially after his retrun with doctoral degree from  Germany.

This issue collects papers of Dr. Komsan Suriya and his supervisor, colleagues, and graduate students which has been launched since the start of his career. I am sure that the papers are attractive to readers and they will contribute very much to the academic world.
